Financial Need Letter
Dear Friend,
Please read the following:
As the father of a beautiful 15 month old girl it wasn't long ago that I was making comments like, she won't date until she's 30!; or, If the poor boy who wants to date my daughter makes it past the big brothers then he can deal with me!
As a dad of a daughter I feel a protective bond and a responsibility to my daughter that is very special and unique. The bond with my daughter has its root in my role as guardian and protector. The responsibility is to be a model of how a man is supposed to treat a woman.
I take this responsibility very seriously and that is why I've always supported Ed and Renee Behr and their ministry, A Daughters Heart. This non-profit ministry exists on ticket sales and contributions to the Annual Father Daughter Dinner Dance. This annual event is a great opportunity for a dad and his daughter to bond and grow together. It is also a great opportunity to model the respect and interest that our daughters will one day look for in a spouse. What a wonderful opportunity to give our daughters a bench mark with which to measure future dates!
Without a doubt, raising kids is an ongoing activity where parents are building into their children's current experiences that will help determine their future decisions and activities. A Daughters Heart provides an opportunity for dads to build a positive experience that could shape those decisions their daughters make down the road. How about a generation of young women who make great choices even when dad is NOT around to be the guardian and protector! Please help A Daughters Heart make this a reality!
THE NEED
This ministry needs your prayerful, financial contribution to make this event a reality for 100's of dads and their daughters. Your contribution will also be used to further the ministry as A Daughters Heart realizes that one event per year may not be the total breadth of Gods plan for this ministry!
With Gods Love,
Scott Seaman
Treasurer
Endorsements
The greatest moments with my daughters have taken place at the Father Daughter Dinner Dance. There may be no greater gift that you can give to your daughter than the gift of your undivided attention at this splendid event. This year's Father Daughter Dinner Dance may be your greatest opportunity to prepare your daughter's heart for the special someone God has for her.

Ed and Renee Behr are two of the most dedicated, caring and compassionate people I know. They really care about our community and the people who live here. I support the father/daughter dance as a wonderful event for young ladies and their fathers. It is so important for fathers to model how their daughters should be treated. I believe that "A Daughters Heart" event will be a success for our community because of Ed and Renee.

Focus on the Family
I have known Ed and Renee for over ten years now and have the highest regard for their godly servants' hearts. They love family and the Lord Jesus Christ. They desire to honor Christ by strengthening the bond between a father and his daughter(s) through a dinner and dance format.
While I lived in Colorado Springs , my daughter Kristy and I enjoyed our time at the Father/Daughter dinner dance held each Valentine's Day. We have grown closer together over the years. The event Ed and Renee orchestrate has helped in that regard.
I highly recommend this couple to you.
